Welcome to Mandarin for All

Raising Hands

This is a place for teachers and students of all levels to find Chinese language and cultural learning materials

This website contains Chinese language and cultural learning materials created by the students in the Duke Chinese program for Community-based Language Learning projects. Those projects intend to assist students in different age groups to self-learn the Chinese language and culture in the United States. Teachers can use those materials for teaching with an acknowledgement of sources.

On this site, you will find short stories, language games, vocabulary PowerPoints, and other fun learning material that you can download!

"Be patient with yourself while learning the sounds, tones and characters of the Chinese language. It’s like building a house for yourself and your loved ones. The better the foundation, the stronger the house."

– Kun Shan Carolyn Lee, Professor of the Practice of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at Duke University
