Word Game
How to play:
Each student is assigned a single word to start. Then, one person starts by calling out their word twice in Chinese followed by someone else's word twice in English. For example, "狗狗，cat cat". Then, the student who was assigned the word called out in English, which in the example is ”猫“, has to respond with their word twice in Chinese followed by someone else's word twice in English. For example,"猫猫，house house", and the game continues. If you mess up or take too long to respond you get out or lose a point.
Pictionary
How to play:
One person draws a picture and the rest have to guess what they are drawing in Chinese. Make a private room and then write a list of "custom words" such as 狗，猫，房子，太阳。If you select "only use custom words", these will be the only words students can draw.
Quizlet Live
How to play:
This is similar to Kahoot, except that you can use an existing Quizlet set to play a trivia game. Students can participate on teams or individually. When you start the game, each student's screen will show a bunch of English definitions and one Chinese vocabulary word. They have to choose the correct definition in order to get the next word, and it's a race to see who matches all the vocab words first. Quizlet live can only be played if you select "teacher" rather than "student" when setting up your Quizlet account.
